I admit, that before SCAD, I was a girl who regularly skipped breakfast. These days though, my day most often starts with porridge oats (made properly, not the instant stuff). It only takes five minutes to make and fills you up for the morning, avoiding a blood sugar fluctuations. Oats contain soluble fibre which slows the rate of digestion in the stomach and provides a slow, steady release of energy. Oats are also helpful in keeping cholesterol levels in check.
